At Meliodays, we’re reimagining the future of uterine health.
“I kept hearing the same stories: women being super frustrated with their pain management options, forced to accept severe period pain as the cost of simply being a woman.”
When I asked my brother Benjamin, who’s a gynecologist, why nothing better existed, he gave me a simple answer: if men had periods, it would have been solved decades ago.
Menstrual pain has historically attracted less R&D investment because it was miscategorized as niche, unimportant, and left unsolved.
1.45 billion people experience menstrual pain. A $9 billion industry capitalizes on menstrual pain management. Yet, the only evidence-based options are high-dose systemic painkillers or hormonal suppression.
That’s why we're building Meliodays: to fill this treatment gap.
